Autobiography
How’s It everyone! My name is Talmadge Hunter, I am 19 years old and if you couldn’t tell, I am very fascinated with photography but more so with wildlife and nature. I am currently a college student in the state of Utah studying aviation. I don’t quite think I have an end goal with life except to enjoy it. Being a Pilot will allow me to travel and see the world for what it really is at a much easier cost. From the time I can remember, I have always have had a deep love with animals and have always wanted contribute in some way of fashion to the animal world. I never knew how I was going to contribute or what ways I will contribute but I think I have found my first way.
I have had a very fortunate life so far with a very fortunate family. At the age of 10 I have moved a total of five times. North Carolina>Colorado>Oklahoma>Hawaii>Florida>Utah. This has given me an opportunity to experience different things from lifestyles to ecosystems. And since from when I can remember, I have traveled hundreds of times. I have always learned a lot from these places and taken many life lessons but have never got to share them. Always being fascinated with photography and intrigued with the art, I decided in January 2023, I would pick up my first real camera and give it a shot. I soon found out, photography is more than taking pictures, it is a way to tell stories and life experiences with people.
I have little Idea where this life will take all of us but I am hoping to gain a following and show people where it takes us. I want to show the beauty of this world and show how much is gone unnoticed and under appreciated. I want to educate and encourage people from across the globe to get out and enjoy what we have in our backyard we call earth. I want to persuade people to preserve this earth. Without this earth, we are nothing.
Like I said, I have no idea what I am really doing or where I am going but I know there will be a lot to learn and see. I hope you enjoy this webpage and find something of value.

The Goal

I use a variety of cameras, it all depends on the situation. I have used go pros, drones, vintage cameras. My main camera I use is the Sony A7RIV. I use to shoot on my a7iii until it broke and before that I shot with the Canon EOS Rebel T7.

There are many good beginner cameras but I believe the best is the Canon EOS Rebel T7, I wouldn’t get the body on it own but the package. The package comes with a bag, a charger, the camera body, two lenses (18-55mm & a telephoto 75-300mm). It gets you a lot for a cheap price and you will learn about everything in photography with his camera. You will see some of my favorite pictures in my blog or shop that have been shot with this camera.

I use the Sony FE 3.5-5.6/28-70mm lens and the Sigma 150-600mm 1:5-6.3 DG DN Sport lens for most of my shots.
